How to change Reddit username

Unfortunately, it is not possible to change your username (also known as login) in any way after the account has been created. With that said, it is possible to change your display name as many times as you need.

Please note, however, that a Reddit display name is used on your profile page only — any posts and comments you make will be under your username at all times. Here's how to change the display name:

1. Go on Reddit, and log into your account;
2. In the top right corner, click on the arrow next to your username. Choose the Profile tab in the submenu;
3. There, you'll see a field labeled Display name (optional). Simply add the name you want there, keeping within 30 characters limit.

If it is absolutely crucial for you to change your username, the only option is to create an entirely new account.
