Awario is an audacious project designed to change the world of social media intelligence and analytics, with audacious people at its heart.
Awario is a social listening tool that gives brands access to data that matters to their business: insights on their customers, market, and competitors. Awario started as a little pet project that branched off another product by the same company, SEO PowerSuite.
Our team was fascinated by the technology behind crawling and indexing web data, so we thought, why not build a powerful web search mechanism for businesses? Say, one that lets brands monitor what people are saying about them across the web: on news sites, blogs, forums, and social media? What if we could make all of that happen in real time?
That's how Awario came to be. In 2015, we released the first tiny version of our pet project. Slowly (in hindsight, way too slowly), we started hiring people to work on Awario full-time. We finally had a dev team. We started a blog and hired our first Customer Care person. We moved to a separate room in the office! In 2018, we finally became official.
