There ain't no rest for the wicked marketers: one of the biggest holidays in terms of customer spending is coming. Valentine's Day is exactly in a month. And you know what that means: getting customers to show their love for each other with your products, jumping on the hype train to grow brand awareness, using a chance to stand out, having a lovely February ROI spike, and entering spring happy, satisfied and full of loooove.
We came up with a list of the last-minute Christmas campaigns. The key behind them all is this: if you can't make your holiday marketing big, make it personalized, cozy, and warm. Make it about your customers. Make them feel special. Doesn't that sound nice?
For some companies, the holiday season ends at New Years. They pack away pumpkin candies, Christmas trees, Santa Clauses, breath in, breath out, and get back to normal, everyday marketing. The closer it gets to February 14th, another great commercialised holiday, the more they feel like they’re missing out. But for one reason or another, these brands can’t simply paint their store pink, give out candies, or start selling jewellery out of nowhere. And what’s left?
