How to Disable the Sensitive Content Message on Twitter?

Twitter has a feature to hide images and videos with content classified as sensitive, such as Graphic Violence, Adult Content, Gratuitous Gore and Hateful Content. That way, people can decide whether or not to view these posts. This feature is enabled by default but the user is free to activate or deactivate it whenever he wants.

You can control this feature not just for other people's tweets in the feed, but for the posts themselves. You can follow these steps to disable the Sensitive Content message:

In the app:

  1. Open the app and click on your photo in the upper-left corner.
  2. Go to Settings and Privacy.
  3. Choose Privacy and Security.
  4.  In the Security section, check the option “Display media that may contain sensitive material” .

On the computer:

  1. On the Twitter app homepage, click on More.
  2. Go to Settings and Privacy.
  3. Go to Privacy & Security.
  4. In the Security area, check the option “Display media that may contain sensitive material”.
