Who owns Telegram?

Telegram, an increasingly popular instant messaging platform, is owned by it's original creators Pavel and Nikolai Durov since the platform's inception in 2013.

Despite both owners being of Russian descent, Telegram has no affiliation with Russia. It's main offices are located in in the UK and the UAE.
